Frequently asked questions

1. What happens after I submit? A NextTables expert reviews your use case, reaches out within 48 hours, and provisions your tenant once we're aligned. We then connect it to your data platform and run a quick onboarding handover with your team.
2. Does the trial cost anything? Is a credit card required?

No. The 60-day trial is free, with no credit card and no obligation. It does not auto-convert to a paid subscription.

3. What happens at the end of 60 days?

You decide. You can convert to a paid subscription (no redeployment or data migration needed), extend the trial, or end it. If you end it, your tenant is decommissioned and your business data is unaffected, it has stayed on your data platform throughout.

4. Where is my trial tenant hosted, and is it dedicated to us?

Your tenant is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Belgium Central). It runs in its own dedicated Kubernetes namespace with its own PostgreSQL metadata database. There are no shared databases between customers.

5. Does NextTables store our business data?

No. NextTables stores only configuration metadata — table definitions, view configurations, validation rules, user and role assignments, and encrypted connection credentials. Business data transits during read/write operations but is never persisted. It stays exclusively in your enterprise data platform.

6. Which data platforms can I connect a trial to today?

SAP Business Data Cloud (including SAP Datasphere) and Databricks. Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric are on the roadmap.

7. How do users sign in, and can we enforce SSO and MFA? Microsoft Entra ID, Google Identity, or email + password. You can disable password sign-in to enforce SSO-only. MFA is enforced via your identity provider's policies.
8. Can we get a DPA and security documentation for review?

Yes. A Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and our Technical and Organisational Measures (TOMs) are available on request — typically before or during onboarding.
