June is about where a NextTables view can live and who sees what in it. A view now embeds inside another tool, a link carries its exact configuration, and administrators get a filter that applies to everyone. Alongside that, imports and exports got noticeably better.
New
Embed mode
A view can be embedded elsewhere and show only its contents, without the surrounding sidebar and top navigation bar. That is how a table lands inside a dashboard or a portal page. Details in URL parameters.
Shareable URL parameters
Applied filters, column visibility and sort order travel with the link. A customized view stays exactly as configured when the link is shared or bookmarked. Also covered in URL parameters.
Global view filters
Administrators can restrict every user of a view to reading and writing only the rows that match a filter. It works like row-level security, but it is enforced globally at the view level, for everyone. Filters support dynamic variables such as Today, Yesterday and This month. Row Level Security Objects and master data objects built on a filtered view respect that filter as well. Setup: View filters.
Resend pending invitations
A pending invitation is resent with one click. Existing role assignments are preserved.
Improved
- Exports include master data text values, and they respect the filters and sort order applied on screen as well as the new view filters.
- File upload reads Excel formulas by their calculated values instead of rejecting the file.
- File import validation is significantly faster, so large files validate much sooner.
- Business names only need to be unique within their top-level folder, so the same name can be reused across folders, for example "Development" and "Production".
- Dropdowns accept typing directly into the box, which makes setting the right value much quicker.
Fixed
- Searching master data with no maintained text values returned an error. It returns results now.
- Signing in could fail when NextTables was embedded inside an iframe. It works now.
- Smaller reliability improvements to search and file import.
Some improvements need a page refresh to take effect.
What was next, as of June 2026
Forms and compounded master data were announced for the following release, together with further file import performance work. All three shipped in August 2026 and have their own release notes on this page. Work had also started on transports and on a hierarchy editor.
